Scottish Classic
2009
The 2009 Scottish Classic will take
place in the Normandy Cosmopolitan Hotel, Inchinnan Road ,
Renfrew on Saturday 10th and Sunday
11th October 2009.
This is a BDO Invitation list event
and is open to all players who are eligible to play in the Winmau
World Masters and the Lakeside World
Professional Championships and also carries ranking
points in the WDF World and BDO Grand
Prix ranking systems.
Entry fees are Men's Singles
£20.00 and Women's Singles £10.00. £1.00 of every Singles
entry goes as a levy to the
World Darts Federation. Supporters £5.00 ( to cover both days )
Closing date for entries is 14th
September 2009 and all entries should be sent to Scottish Darts
Association, 4 Burns Road,
Glenrothes, Fife KY6 1EB with all cheques/postal orders made
payable to the "Scottish Darts
Association"
Accommodation We have negotiated a special rate for
both the Normandy Hotel and the
Erskine Bridge Hotel. Rates for
Friday and Saturday are as follows:- Standard Room £27.00 per
person per night Bed and Breakfast,
Superior Room £34.50 per person per night Bed and
Breakfast. Single Supplement £15.00
per night.

This year's Men's Singles will be
played in two sessions, session one from 10.00am to 15.00pm,
and session two from 15.30pm to
20.30pm. Both sessions will play down to last 16.
Men’s Singles will be the best of
seven legs of 501 in early rounds, best of nine legs in semi-finals
and best of eleven legs in the final.
Players will 'Bull up' in deciding leg if required.
This year's Women's Singles will
again be played in two sessions, session one from 10.00am to
15.00pm, and session two from 15.30pm
to 20.30pm. Both sessions will play down to last 4

There will be a £1000 prize fund
guaranteed, to cover both events.
All stage finals approx. 17.00pm on
Sunday 11th
October 2009.
