RECENT NEWS

As some of you may already know, Fife Darts has recently started a darting academy for young boys and girls aged between 12 and 18 years, however we are flexible on the starting age as it is hoped in the near future to also have a darting school for the younger kids who will then progress on to the academy. There is currently a Fife Youth Darts web page under construction but in the mean time here is some of the round robin averages.

Scottish Mixed triples Results

The Fife qualifier for the Scottish mixed triples were played recently at the CISWO club and also on the day the Fife youth tournament took place. Details of the qualifiers for the Scottish mixed triples and the result of the youth tournament can be viewed below.

The Berwick autumn darts tournaments took place last weekend results for all competitions below.

The Scottish doubles were held at Bannockburn last saturday with Fife representeed in both the mens and ladies competitions. Congratulations to D.Callary/J.Murdoch-WAY for beating A.Soutar/B.Beattie-ANG to become mens pairs champions and to D.Fenwick/A.Cox-LOT for beating I.Hancock/J.Whyte-TV to become ladies pairs champions. NOTE TO ALL SUPERLEAGUE PLAYERS - Bobby Adamson has kindly created a step by step guide to sending the dfw (darts for windows) database file for anyone who is unsure of what to do. I have placed a link to this file at the top of the Superleague page for your information. Also mens and womens superleague results, stats and averages have been uploaded and can again be viewed via the Superleague page.

Last Saturday the CISWO club in Glenrothes played host to the Fife qualifier for the Scottish doubles. There was not as good a turnout as we had hoped but there were still some good darts played on the day. The qualifiers were;

Janette Adam & Sheena Fotheringham, Gillian Hepplewhite & Pearl Scott, Kevin Feeley & Colin Hepplewhite, Ian Cochrane & James Scougall, Chris Izatt & Rab Shaw and Davie Lessels & Wullie Stuart.

COUNTY DARTS

Fife's county darts team started the new campaign with an away trip to Central (Bannockburn) and began with wins for the ladies B team, Mens B team, Ladies A team and the Mens A team, a clean sweep of victories. Well done to all those who participated on the day and to Central County Darts for their hospitality on the day. Full match stats can be viewed via the County Darts link to the left of this page.

LADIES GOLD CUP

THE LADIES GOLD CUP SINGLES AND DOUBLES RESULTS

The doubles were played last Tuesday night and the winners were Steph Gilmour & Ina MacNeil who beat Mandy Mitchell & Laura Martin 3-0 in the final.
In the singles, held last night, the champion was Sheena Fotheringham who came through a fifth leg decider to win 3-2 against Pearl Scott. Beaten semi finalists were Mandy Mitchell & Izzy Brannan
